“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming it” - Helen Keller

Children with facial and limb disfigurements face immense challenges in the way others treat them. Issues of low self-esteem, teasing and bullying because they look 'different' often times cause children with disfigurements to become loners. Children who are isolated from their peers miss out on the ability to enjoy childhood and fail to reach their full potential as adults.
U.S.CMAF's mission is to improve the lives and enhance the self-esteem of children from low to moderate income families. The mission is accomplished through medical and dental treatment of physical maladies that give rise to issues of low self-esteem and potentially subject the child to bullying. The end goal is to enable these children to lead active lives with greater positive self-esteem. Support for U.S.CMAF comes from public donations, fund raising events, corporate donations and sponsorships and our Shop On-Line.
By teaming with doctors and other medical professionals who work with children, U.S.CMAF provides treatment to children from infancy through age 18 with follow-up treatment through age 21. The children we reach out to are America's children; they are America's future. You can be part of America's future by supporting U.S. Children's Medical Assistance Fund, Inc.
